The three-day 2026 Tokyo International High-Performance Plastics Show has concluded successfully at Makuhari Messe. The Huangyao Chemical team returns with fruitful outcomes. At this exhibition, we presented the full range of TRONOX titanium dioxide products together with the complete FORNAX functional additive portfolio. We held face-to-face in-depth discussions with terminal manufacturers, compounding factories and formulation engineers from Japan and across the Asia-Pacific in rubber & plastics, coatings and composite material sectors, exploring practical solutions for high-end manufacturing, low-carbon lightweighting, weather resistance and stability.
Our Product Showcase: One-Stop Material Solutions for Core Industry Challenges
Besides the previously announced TRONOX titanium dioxide and FORNAWAX wax additives, we also premiered the full FORNAPLUS® functional additive series at the booth. The lineup covers foam weight reduction, toughening & impact modification, long-term antioxidation, UV weathering protection and matting titanium dioxide for chemical fibers. It supports the full production chain of plastics including compounding, injection molding and extrusion, as well as coatings and fiber manufacturing, delivering custom raw material packages for different industries.
✅ TRONOX Titanium Dioxide Series We displayed TDS documents for all TRONOX grades (134 / 233 / 288 / 595 / 696 / 826 / 828 / 834 / 880, RCL-69, TPD-103), paired with Asia-Pacific application guides for coatings and plastics. Featuring excellent whiteness, high hiding power, outstanding weather resistance and good dispersibility, these grades are suitable for home appliance housings, automotive interiors, packaging films, engineering modified plastics and industrial coatings. They meet strict Japanese high-end manufacturing requirements for anti-yellowing and long-term stability.
✅ FORNAPLUS® Functional Additives FORNAPLUS® 3180 CO₂ Eco-Friendly Foaming Masterbatch A CO₂ reactive foaming system. Only 1% addition brings 15%–30% weight reduction, eliminates sink marks and warpage, and shortens molding cycles. Ideal for PP automotive interior panels, HDPE cable jackets, thick-wall injection parts and PE foamed pipes. It helps rubber & plastic products achieve lightweighting and cost reduction in line with global low-carbon trends.
FORNAPLUS® MP890 Toughened Grafted Elastomer High-efficiency impact modifier for engineering plastic alloys such as PPS, PBT, PET and PC/ABS. It improves impact strength, and also works as a compatibilizer, asphalt modifier and adhesion promoter for substrates to solve brittleness and incompatibility issues during blending.
FORNAPLUS® OX-1010 / OX-168 Antioxidants Primary & secondary antioxidant package that suppresses thermal oxidative degradation of polymers during processing, prevents discoloration and long-term ageing. Suitable for polyolefins, engineering plastics, rubber and ABS. It extends service life and stabilizes high-temperature extrusion and injection molding.
FORNAPLUS® UV-234 / UV-928 UV Absorbers Benzotriazole light stabilizers. UV-234 fits high-temperature processed engineering plastics, polyesters and TPU. UV-928 is developed specially for high-performance coatings with great solubility, heat resistance and weatherability. It inhibits coating fading, cracking and substrate ageing for durable outdoor applications.
FORNAX® LW-SU-120 Fibre-Grade Matting TiO₂ for Nylon Custom-made for nylon fibre. It delivers soft matting effect, UV resistance and good dispersibility for matting masterbatches and colour masterbatches, improving fabric drape for outdoor gear and automotive interior textiles.
✅ FORNAWAX Wax Additives
Integrated solutions for lubrication, dispersion, mould release and anti-blooming. They improve process flow, reduce screw wear and enhance surface finish, perfect for carbon fibre reinforced plastics, recycled modified resins and precision electronic plastic formulations.
Exhibition Outcomes: Connecting with Japan’s High-End Manufacturing to Solve Material Challenges
Japan is a benchmark market for precision manufacturing. Industries including new energy vehicles, medical devices, display panels, high-performance fibres and premium coatings keep advancing toward lightweighting, weather stability, low-carbon production and precision moulding. We received many local compounders, brand owners and R&D formulation engineers. Against on-site material pain points, our team provided grade selection, dosage reference and formulation optimisation suggestions:
