Established in 1954, Formosa has been built from the world’s smallest PVC powder factory to the pillar of Taiwan, China’s economic development.

Formosa Plastics Corporation started up from the plastics industry. After laying the foundation of raw materials and processing, it drives towards diversification, setting up production bases in Taiwan, China, the United States, the mainland and the ASEAN countries. Affiliated enterprises also includes Nanya Plastics, Taiwan, China Chemicals, Formosa Petrochem, etc.. Formosa also invested hugely in educational and medical institutions.
